Google Shopping agency for online stores
We clean up Merchant Center and your product feed, set up purchase tracking with order value and build Shopping and Performance Max campaigns by category, margin or bestsellers. Every month you get a written report: revenue from ads, what they cost and what we are changing.
As a Google Shopping agency, we get your products shown in Google with a photo, price and shop name, so people see what they are buying before they click. This works when the product feed is clean, purchases are tracked with their order value and campaigns are split so the budget goes to the products you want to sell. We take care of Merchant Center, tracking and Shopping and Performance Max campaigns, either in your existing account or from scratch.
When it fits
when it fits
- You run an online store with a catalogue where people can add products to a basket and pay online.
- Some products in Merchant Center are disapproved or stuck with errors and nobody has looked into why.
- Performance Max is already running, but it is unclear which products bring revenue and which only spend budget.
- You sell in several countries and need a feed in the language of each market.
when not now
- You sell one or two products or a service without a catalogue. A standard search campaign works better here.
- The site has no basket or online checkout, so purchases cannot be tracked and the campaign has no idea what a result is.
- Your products fall under Google policy restrictions, your margin cannot carry the click cost, or you need guaranteed payback. Nobody can honestly promise that.
What we do for your store
-
01
Merchant Center and feed
We check titles, images, prices, availability and product identifiers, and work through disapproved products and feed errors. The feed language matches the market.
-
02
Purchase tracking
Each purchase reaches Google Ads and GA4 with its order value and without duplicates, so bidding can tell a small order from a large one.
-
03
Campaign structure
We split Shopping and Performance Max campaigns by category, margin or bestsellers so budget can go to the products worth more to you.
-
04
Search terms, budget, product pages
We clean up search terms and add negatives, and allocate budget and bids. On product pages, price and availability must match the feed and the page must load fast on a phone.
-
05
Monthly report
In writing: revenue from ads, ad spend and what we change next month.
THE QUESTIONS
WE HEAR MOST.
Shopping or Performance Max?
It depends on your catalogue, budget and how much purchase data you already have. A standard Shopping campaign gives more control over queries and products. Performance Max also shows products on YouTube, Gmail and the Display Network but decides the placements itself. The two can run side by side, and we explain the budget split before launch.
Do we need Merchant Center, and who sets it up?
Yes, products cannot appear in Shopping without Merchant Center. If you do not have an account, we create it together with you, because your company should own it. If you already have one, we start by checking the feed and product status.
How much does it cost?
It depends on the number of products, markets and languages and on the state of the feed. A clean feed for one country and a catalogue with hundreds of disapproved products in three languages are different jobs. We agree scope and price in writing before we start. Ad spend is paid to Google separately.
Which shop platforms do you work with?
The feed can be exported from your shop platform or built as a spreadsheet that Merchant Center reads directly. Before we start, we look at how your product list is produced today and suggest the option that is easiest for your team to maintain.
What do you need to get started?
A link to your store, the list of countries you sell in, access to Google Ads and Merchant Center if you have them, and access to GA4. It also helps to know which categories or products have the best margins for you.
When will we see the first data?
Impressions and clicks appear once Google approves the products and the campaign goes live. Conclusions about which products pay off come after enough purchase data has built up. How long that takes depends on traffic and order volume, so we do not promise a timeline for results.

Google Shopping agency: feed, campaigns and reporting
A Google Shopping agency is useful when you run an online store with a catalogue and online checkout and want your products to appear in Google with a photo, price and shop name. For that to turn into sales, three things have to work together: a clean product feed in Merchant Center, purchase tracking that records the order value, and a campaign structure that reflects your margins. Below is what we do with each part.
What a Google Shopping agency does for an online store
Shopping ads are not written by hand like search ads. Google takes the title, image, price and availability from the feed your store sends to Google Merchant Center. So Google Shopping management starts with the feed. If a product title has no brand or model, or the price on the site differs from the price in the feed, no bid setting will fix it.
There are two campaign types for products. A standard Shopping campaign shows products in Search and on the Shopping tab and gives you more control over which products appear for which queries. Performance Max uses the same feed but decides on its own how to spread impressions across Search, YouTube, Gmail, the Display Network and other Google placements, as Google explains in its overview of Performance Max. Which type suits you, and how to split the budget between them, we decide after reviewing your catalogue and purchase data. As a Performance Max agency, we look at the data before recommending a campaign type.
Merchant Center and the product feed
We always start with the feed. We check product titles for what people actually type: product type, brand, model, size or colour. We review images, prices, availability and product identifiers such as GTIN and manufacturer part number. Then we open the list of disapproved products and feed errors in Merchant Center.
The feed language has to match the market. If you sell in the UK and Germany, each country needs a feed in its own language and currency. You can export the feed from your shop platform or build it as a spreadsheet that Merchant Center reads directly.
Purchase tracking with order value
Google Ads and GA4 need to see the value of each purchase, not just that it happened. Without the value, a campaign treats a small order and a large one the same and learns to bring in any buyer. We check that a purchase is not counted twice, that the value is passed in the agreed form (with or without shipping), and that the figures in Google Ads match the orders in your shop admin. If your analytics needs a wider rebuild than advertising requires, we offer analytics setup as a separate service.
Once purchases carry a value, you can use value based bidding, including a target return on ad spend (ROAS). You set the ratio of revenue to spend that Google aims for when it bids in each auction. We choose the target from your margins and the data collected so far. It guides the algorithm and does not guarantee an outcome.
Campaign structure: categories, margin, bestsellers
A single campaign for the whole catalogue usually spends most of its budget on a few popular products while the rest barely show. We split Shopping and Performance Max campaigns along the lines of your business: by category, by margin, or with bestsellers and new arrivals kept apart. More budget then goes to the products that are worth more to you, and you can see results for each group.
Search terms, negatives, budget and bids
In Shopping you do not pick keywords. Google matches queries to products using the feed. So we review the search terms report regularly and add negatives such as “free”, “manual”, “used” or model names you do not stock. Budget and bids are moved between product groups based on the revenue they bring, not on clicks. Our article on Google Ads without burning budget describes how we keep spend under control week by week.
Product pages the ads lead to
After the click, a shopper lands on the product page and should see the same price and availability as in the ad. A mismatch annoys buyers and can get the product disapproved in Merchant Center. We also check how quickly the page loads on a phone, because people leave a slow page before they reach the basket.
The monthly report
Once a month you receive a written report: revenue from advertising according to tracking, ad spend, which product groups pay off and which do not, and what we change next month. It is worth checking it against the orders in your shop admin.
Existing account or a fresh start
If you already have Google Ads and Merchant Center, we start by reviewing the feed, purchase tracking and campaign structure. If another Google Shopping ads agency or freelancer runs the account and you want an independent check first, there is a separate PPC audit. If nothing is set up yet, we build it from scratch and create the accounts in your company’s name so access stays with you.
When Shopping is the wrong choice
If you sell one or two products or a service without a catalogue, a standard search campaign is usually simpler and gives more control. Without a basket and online checkout, purchases cannot be tracked and the campaign has nothing to learn from. Some products fall under Google policy restrictions and will not be approved in Merchant Center. If the margin on a product is lower than the cost of the clicks needed for one sale, no setup will make the ads pay off. We do not guarantee a return.
