AI search: facts about your business

A written audit of the prompts, sources and public facts behind AI answers.

We check whether buyers and AI assistants can find clear, verifiable information about your offer. We then improve the missing or unclear answers. Mentioning your brand remains the assistant’s decision.

THE PROBLEM

Why the brand disappears in AI answers

Buyers can ask who serves their market, what fits their problem and which provider has proof before they click a result. If the answer names competitors or cannot verify what you do, a Google ranking alone may not solve the demand blocker. We start with the buyer questions that matter, not a promise to dominate citations.

WRITTEN WORK. CLEAR DECISIONS.

You receive the prompt panel, source gap list, proposed fixes and repeated observations in writing. We separate what appeared from what we infer, and say when another fader should come first.

Start with the market, offer and questions that can change a buyer decision.

Use the same agreed questions, engines and source notes over time.

Fix the page or fact with the clearest evidence gap before expanding scope.

Do not publish a claim that your team cannot confirm publicly.

If the active blocker is SEO, content, offer clarity or demand, we say so.

Receive the scope, findings and next decision without a sales-call theatre.

questions before the start

THE QUESTIONS
WE HEAR MOST.

What does AI Search work include?

We review public facts, source pages, structure and a fixed set of AI-search questions. The exact scope depends on which markets and products matter first.

Can you guarantee a citation in AI answers?

No. AI systems choose and change their answers. We improve the public source material and monitor what actually appears.

What do you need from our team?

Accurate public facts, priority questions and a person who can confirm details before publication.

How do you measure change?

We repeat the same question set and record mentions, sources and answer changes. We do not present one favourable answer as a permanent result.

AI SEARCH, EXPLAINED

AI SEO WITH CHECKABLE FACTS.

An AI SEO agency should help ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews find and correctly retell the facts about your business when a buyer asks them about your category. Nobody can promise that an assistant will name you: it picks its own sources and changes its answers often. What we can do is make your public facts easy to find and verify, then check regularly what actually shows up in the answers.

AI search and SEO: what they share and where they differ

SEO helps useful pages appear in search results. Generative engine optimization (GEO), which we usually call AI Search, helps a brand and its facts be understood in generated answers. The foundation is shared: a page that cannot be indexed, or one with contradictory facts, is a weak source for both. If the site has basic indexing problems or there is no page for the buyer’s main question, start with SEO.

The difference lies in what we check. For SEO we look at queries, rankings, pages and links. For AI search we take a fixed set of questions and record who is mentioned, which sources the assistant draws on and whether it describes your offer correctly.

How the work runs

  1. We collect the questions buyers really ask about the category, region and offer: comparisons, “who does this near me”, checks before buying. The set is fixed before the first measurement so later checks compare fairly.
  2. We record the current picture. For agreed assistants and markets we note who is named (you, competitors or nobody), which source is visible and whether the facts are right. A mention with the wrong offer does not count as a win.
  3. We check the public facts: what you do, for whom, where you work, what is included and what proof exists. We look for outdated pages, duplicates, conflicting contact details and vague regional wording.
  4. We fix what matters most first: one or two pages or facts that carry the main claim, with clear structure and text, structured data and links to primary sources.
  5. We ask the same questions again and show in writing what changed in mentions, sources and answers.

We do not fabricate directory listings, reviews or “citations”. A fact that cannot be confirmed should not be presented as proof.

A case with a number and its limits

In a case for a German B2B platform, an AI-visibility index across Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity rose from 100 to 420 over five months, an increase of 320%. The client confirmed the figure. It is an index over a fixed set of questions: it does not show revenue, does not cover every possible buyer query and does not guarantee future citations. The case explains how the question set was defined.

How the price is formed

There is no published price. Scope depends on the number of markets and languages, the size of the question set, which assistants we check, the state of the site and how often the check is repeated. The smallest useful piece of work is a question set, a gap list, one or two fixes and a repeat check. After that you can see whether to continue, combine the work with SEO or content, or stop.

When it fits and when it does not

It fits a B2B offer in a defined category or region, where buyers compare and ask questions before choosing and your team can confirm public facts. Small and mid-sized businesses benefit too when buyer questions repeat week after week. When you compare AI SEO agencies, ask whether the report separates what was seen from what is concluded. Ours does.

It is not the first step when the offer is still unclear, the site has basic content or indexing problems, or you need enquiries this month from demand that already exists in search. A useful SEO page, paid search or measurement is the more honest start then. If you are shortlisting a GEO agency, ask how it fixes its question set before measuring anything.

For a self-check, read the AI Search visibility checklist and what to optimise for B2B and what to ignore.

Start in writing

Send us a message with your category, priority region, offer, 5-10 questions clients already ask and a page or fact the assistant gets wrong. We will reply in writing whether a question-and-source audit is the useful next step or other work should come first.
